School Maintenance Caretaker

Are you an experienced Maintenance Professional looking to transition into the Education sector? I am currently recruiting Maintenance professionals to support site teams in carrying out day-to-day general maintenance and site work in schools across the area.

There are both FULL TIME AND PART TIME positions available throughout the school year, with varying durations. There may also be opportunities to move to a PERMANENT CONTRACT within the schools, although this is not guaranteed.

You must be available to start immediately and be FLEXIBLE WITH WORKING HOURS, as some schools require split shifts (e.g., 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.).

Responsibilities:

• Carry out general maintenance and litter picking
• Complete odd jobs delegated by the supervisor
• Open and close school buildings
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently
• Set alarms

Requirements:

• Fully register with us, including providing right-to-work documents
• Obtain an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, which we will process at a cost of £56.20 (unless you already have one registered on the update service)
