Job summary

Horizon North is seeking Camp Maintenance Workers for a remote Thunder Bay camp on a 3/3 rotation. Perform routine and emergency repairs in a fast-paced camp with full accommodations and meals. Housing and travel support are provided, with daily compensation up to CAD 335.

Ideal candidates have several years of general maintenance experience, a valid Class 5/G license, and the ability to work independently in remote settings. Trade certs and equipment experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Several years of general maintenance experience.
• Valid Class 5/G driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, in confined spaces, and all weather.
• Able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Personal transportation to designated departure hubs.

Responsibilities

• Handle routine and emergency repairs in a fast-paced camp setting with full accommodations.
• Support project facilities maintenance for the Waasigan Transmission Line Project.
• Ensure safety and adherence to camp policies during rotations.
