Musashi Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Associate (442A Licensed Electrician or 433A Millwright) to support multiple production areas by repairing equipment and setting up new machinery. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement in line with the company’s standards.

The successful candidate will repair and modify equipment, participate in safety training, and work both independently and with a team to minimize downtime and support plant goals.

Qualifications

• Licensed OR Enrolled in skilled trade apprenticeship (Millwright/Electrician)
• Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to quality and production
• Ability to read and interpret basic electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machines to minimize downtime
• Complete machine work orders promptly
• Perform equipment modifications and relocations
• Engage in machining, welding and fabrication tasks
• Execute machine electrical upgrades and changes
• Serve as a member of the Emergency Response Team
• Attend annual health and safety training including WHMIS and lockout/tag-out

Job Summary:

Maintenance Associate (Millwright/Electrician) assists all production areas in repairing equipment and the set-up of new equipment. Proactive in safety, quality, production and kaizan and maintains all equipment in the plant.

Reports to: Team Leader, Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications:

• Licensed OR Enrolled in skilled trade apprenticeship (Millwright/Electrician)

Company Standards:

• Uphold company policies.
• Follow all safety procedures & instructions.
• Actively involved in company and department goals.
• Follow Musashi’s “5’s” principles, quality, environmental, and health & safety systems.
• Interact with all Musashi working peers in a respectful and pleasant manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair machines with a minimum downtime.
• Complete machine work orders
• Equipment modification and relocations
• Machining, welding and fabrication.
• Machine electrical upgrades and changes.
• Member of the Emergency Response Team
• Perform related duties as required
• Attend annual health and safety training including (but not limited to) WHMIS, and Lockout Tag-out.
