We are seeking a Maintenance Associate (Millwright/Electrician) to assist all production areas in repairing equipment and setting up new equipment. The role involves proactive safety, quality, production, and kaizen practices, and maintaining all plant equipment. Reports to: Team Leader, Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications

• Licensed or enrolled in skilled trade apprenticeship (Millwright 433A / Electrician 442A)

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair machines to minimize downtime
• Complete machine work orders
• Engage in continuous improvement projects
• Modify and relocate equipment
• Perform machining, welding, and fabrication
• Upgrade and modify machine electrical systems
• Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team
• Perform related duties as required
• Attend annual health and safety training (e.g., WHMIS, Lockout Tag-out)
