Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep a safe, clean, and well-functioning community for residents and staff in Canada. The role involves performing repairs, preventative upkeep, and daily facility tasks to support operations and resident safety.

You will work on HVAC maintenance, plumbing, electrical, painting, and routine inspections while adhering to safety and infection-control standards in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, appliances and fixtures.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and proactive maintenance checks.
• Willingness to participate in emergency drills and daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, fixtures).
