Job summary

Apple Self Storage is seeking a MaintenancePerson to help ensure our facilities are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. You’ll support site teams by performing essential upkeep, minor repairs, and seasonal tasks that keep our properties professional in appearance and function.

You are hands-on, safety-minded, adaptable, and organized. With 1–2 years in maintenance or janitorial work, you’ll handle lifting, outdoor duties, and occasional weekend needs while keeping safety top of mind.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of maintenance or janitorial experience.
• Comfortable with physically demanding tasks (lifting, climbing ladders, outdoor work).
• Availability for weekday work with some weekend/after-hours flexibility.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of offices, washrooms, hallways, and driveways.
• Perform small repairs like fixing doors, replacing bulbs, and lubricating locks.
• Identify safety and security issues and report hazards to the Site Manager.
• Support site teams by prioritizing daily and seasonal maintenance tasks.

Salary Range: $40,000.00 To $40,000.00 Annually

As a MaintenancePerson, you help ensure that our facilities are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. You’ll support our site teams by performing essential upkeep, minor repairs, and seasonal tasks that help maintain the professional appearance and function of our properties.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain Cleanliness – Ensure offices, washrooms, hallways, and driveways are clean, sanitized, and presentable.
• General Facility Maintenance Tasks -Tackle small repairs like fixing doors, replacing light bulbs, and lubricating locks. Keep the outside of the facility property looking tidy and accessible to customers. Skid and package deliveries, use of pump trucks.
• Identify Safety & Security Issues – Report any hazards or facility issues to the Site Manager. Stay alert to any unusual activity after hours and report concerns accordingly.
• Support Site Teams – Work alongside Site staff to prioritize daily and seasonal maintenance tasks which include minor landscaping and clearing of snow.
