Job summary

State Street in Toronto, Canada is seeking an experienced Mainframe & SWIFT Application Support Specialist to ensure end-to-end support, monitoring, and incident management for our SWIFT messaging flows and mainframe accounting processes.

You will drive DevSecOps practices across hybrid architectures, enhance observability and resilience, and collaborate with global teams to modernize legacy systems while maintaining data accuracy and timely financial processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience as an Application Support Engineer in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of mainframe systems (IBM Z, Tandem/NonStop, or similar).
• Good knowledge of SWIFT-connected platforms and secure environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) and hybrid architectures.
