Job summary

TD is seeking a Software Developer to join the Product Group technology team in Toronto, building end-to-end solutions for TD Loans and Mortgage applications. The role involves IBM mainframe technologies such as Cobol, JCL, DB2, IMS and SAS to deliver reliable systems.

You will analyze business requirements, design and implement new modules, perform unit and integration testing, support test cycles and post-production deployments, and collaborate with clients and project teams.

Qualifications

• Expert coding skills in COBOL, SQL, JCL and SAS.
• Expert database skills in DB2 and IMS.
• 1-3 years of experience in application development teams.
• Advanced to expert knowledge of design and development tools and methodologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications and perform unit testing for new initiatives.
• Analyze business requirements and identify components for solutions.
• Provide code maintenance and support during testing cycles and deployment.
