Job summary

IntelliBee in Canada is seeking a Level 1 Incident Manager to promptly create, triage, and track customer IT incidents relating to diverse technologies. You will collaborate with IT staff, customers and vendors to restore service quickly.

The role requires on-site availability, willingness to work holidays or night shifts, and strong experience with Microsoft Teams (5+ years) along with monitoring tools like WhatsUp Gold, Pingdom and PRTG, and mainframe tooling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in incident management or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with IT staff, customers, and vendors.
• Experience with monitoring tools and mainframe-related operations is required.

Job description

• Functions as a Level 1 Incident Manager for critical incidents/events relating to various IT technology. Quickly create, escape, triage and track customer technology related incidents.
• Excellent communication skills necessary to collaborate with IT staff, customers and vendors.
• Utilize graphical monitoring systems tracking availability and status of infrastructure connectivity, assets and services.
• Monitors mainframe control consoles, periodically checking system performance.
• May assist with the review/validation of mainframe job control language.
• Perform deliveries as assigned and must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• The position mandates a presence onsite; there is not a work from home option.
• Applicants could be requested to work holidays, days, afternoons and/or midnight shifts.
