Job summary

Heli-One is seeking an experienced Machinist with CNC and manual machining experience. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented team player who upholds high safety, quality and craftsmanship standards. This role reports to the Supporting Workshops Supervisor.

Based initially in Delta, BC with relocation to Richmond (YVR) by end of January 2027. You will operate Conventional & CNC machines for aeronautical work, fabricate tooling, and ensure compliance with OEM specs.

Qualifications

  • Completed Red Seal Certificate for Machining or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a machine shop environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace component and structural repairs (Sikorsky, Airbus, Leonardo) and aviation standards is an asset.
  • Efficient use of electronic or paper-based manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Operate (Conventional & CNC) machines for repair, overhaul and manufacture of aeronautical products.
  • Fabricate tooling and equipment to support operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with OEM publications, service bullets, build sheets and airworthiness directives.
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow policies.

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Machinist with CNC and manual machining experience. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented team player who consistently demonstrates high standards of safety, quality, and craftsmanship. This role reports directly to the Supporting Workshops Supervisor.

Location
  • Currently based in Delta, BC.
  • Relocating to Richmond, BC (YVR) by the end of January 2027.
  • Operate (Conventional & CNC) machines for the repair, overhaul and manufacture of aeronautical products.
  • Fabricate tooling and equipment to support operational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) publication specifications, service bulletins, build sheets, quality processes and procedures, airworthiness directives and company policies and procedures.
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawing and blueprints.
  • Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • International travel may be required.
Qualifications & Experience

Eligibility

Applicants must have the legal right to work in Canada and meet any clearance requirements relevant to the role.

Salary Range
  • $83,445 - $99,680 based on experience and qualifications
Work Schedule
  • Monday to Friday 600 a.m. to 230 p.m
Time Off
  • 4 weeks' vacation starting with the option to purchase an additional week through payroll deduction
  • 10 days sick leave
  • 13 statutory holidays observed
Pension
  • Manulife mandatory 4% with Company matching 4%
