Job summary

Heli-One Canada in Richmond, BC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (M2 rated) to perform and certify maintenance to airworthiness and regulatory standards. You will troubleshoot, document work, and collaborate to ensure safety and quality across a global rotor-wing MRO operation.

We value safety, accuracy, and teamwork; candidates should have 3+ years on rotary wing aircraft, English communication skills, and proficiency with maintenance documentation and AMOS MRO software

Qualifications

  • Transport Canada AME licence (M1 or M2) is required.
  • Legal right to live and work in Canada.
  • Rotary wing aircraft experience (3+ years) preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Experience with AMOS MRO software is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain required authorizations for aircraft you work on.
  • Ensure quality of work by yourself or supervised staff.
  • Assist in instruction and training of apprentices.
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprints.
  • Troubleshoot issues and develop corrective actions.
  • Document and certify maintenance within your scope of authority.
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation has correct revision status.
  • Stay current with amendments to procedures/manuals and technical data.
  • Control tools and maintain workspace cleanliness.
  • Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - M1 or M2

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the required authorizations for the aircraft you work on.
  • Ensure the quality of work carried out by yourself and/or non‑certifying staff under your supervision.
  • Assist in instruction and training of apprentices
  • Interpret technical manuals, drawing and blueprints
  • Troubleshoot issues and develop actions to rectify them
  • Accurately document and certify maintenance carried out within your scope of authority.
  • Ensure all documentation used during maintenance is of the correct revision status.
  • Stay current with all amendments to Company Procedures/Manuals and all other relevant technical data.
  • Properly control all tools used during maintenance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work areas under your control.
  • Work in compliance with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Shift work may be required with occasional weekends as required.
  • Travel may be required.
Essential Qualifications
  • Transport Canada AME M licence (M1 or M2 rated)
  • Legal right to live and work in Canada
Desirable Qualifications
  • Type ratings for Bell 412, Sikorsky S92 or Leonardo AW139 are an asset
Skills/Experience
  • At least 3 years’ experience on rotary wing aircraft is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Experience with AMOS MRO software is an advantage.

Salary range $73,163 - $106,486 Based on experience and qualifications

Work Schedule Choice
  • 8 hour days, Monday to Friday (0600-1415) or;
  • 10 hour days, Monday to Thursday (0600-1630)
Time Off
  • 4 weeks vacation starting with the option to purchase an additional week through payroll deduction
  • 10 days sick leave
  • 13 Statutory Holidays observed
