Join a leading high-precision component manufacturer as a Mill-Turn machinist! This role offers the chance to work with advanced CNC machines in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You'll be part of a supportive team that values skill development and provides training opportunities. Ideal candidates will have experience in programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines, with a focus on tight tolerances. Enjoy competitive pay, a variety of shifts, and a range of benefits including health insurance and paid vacation. If you're self-motivated and eager to grow your career, we want to hear from you!
We have an opening on our team for an experienced Mill-Turn machinist.
Both our Mazak Mill-turns (Mazak Integrex i300, Mazak Integrex 300 IIIS) have posts for offline programming but run Mazatrol as well. We would encourage experienced candidates that have turning and milling experience but want to graduate to Mill-turn machining to apply as well. We would gradually ramp you to one of our mill-turn machines.
Mahler Machining is seeking experienced machinists to join our tenured team. Our business is a leading high-precision component manufacturer for BC and international customers. No two days will be the same given the company's focus on low-volume complexity work from a variety of industries including deep sea submergence, aerospace, alternative energy, medical, and manufacturing OEMs. The 20,000-square-foot facility in Coquitlam, BC is equipped with 19 CNC machines including a mix of vertical mills, lathes, and 7-axis live tooling machines. We are ISO 9001 certified and operate a fleet of well-maintained Mazak and Haas machines that support online (conversational Mazatrol) and offline programming.
Ideal candidates can program, set up, and operate machines while working with tight tolerances (microns to 5 thou). Experienced machinists get the opportunity to work on challenging parts by taking a drawing to a finished component. Candidates with Lathe and Mazak experience are ideal. Our team of 30+ members have extensive experience to learn from and receive coaching from. We support our employees with internal and external training as they look to build their skills.
We have opportunities on the day shift (7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday) and the afternoon shift (3:45 pm to 1:45 am, Monday to Thursday), as well as overtime as needed.
Mahler offers competitive pay based on experience. The range for this position is $35-40/hr.
We are seeking candidates who are self-motivated and take pride in their work. We welcome new joiners who are looking for a permanent full-time position to develop and grow their capabilities and careers. Please get in touch if you are interested.
