Job summary

Randstad Canada is recruiting for a heat press operator to transfer designs onto sports jerseys at our Toronto-area facility. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Shifts include AM 8:00am–4:30pm at $18/hr and PM 12:00pm–8:30pm at $19.50/hr, with weekly pay and standard benefits. Candidates must be able to stand for long periods and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Experience with heat press or apparel machinery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for most of the shift.
• Clear criminal record check.

Gurney Crescent (near Dufferin & Lawrence West) is very accessible via the TTC (TTC Route 29/929 Dufferin, 52 Lawrence, or Lawrence West Station).

Schedule

Monday to Friday

AM Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Pay Rate: $18/hr

PM Shift: 12:00am - 8:30am Pay Rate: $19.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Operate heat press machinery to transfer designs onto sports jerseys.
• Ensure accurate placement and alignment of designs. (centered)
• Monitor and maintain equipment for optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily production goals.
• Perform quality control to ensure finished products meet standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with diverse heat transfer materials.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Technical troubleshooting capability
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods.
