Russel Metals is seeking an experienced Tube Laser Operator to join the Winnipeg South branch. You will safely operate BLM LT8/LT8.20 laser systems to produce high-quality components per specifications, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of tube laser experience and can read manufacturing drawings, interpret CNC programs, and use calipers or other inspection tools. Crane experience is a plus in a metal fabrication setting.

We are seeking an experienced Tube Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team at the Winnipeg South branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our BLM tube laser equipment to produce high-quality components according to customer specifications and production requirements.
Our facility operates BLM LT8 and BLM LT8.20 tube laser systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of tube laser operating experience, with experience on BLM equipment considered a strong asset.

The ideal candidate is a safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and detail-oriented operator who takes pride in producing quality work. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, troubleshooting equipment issues, and taking ownership of your work.
Experience with BLM LT8/LT8.20 tube laser systems, overhead cranes, and steel fabrication will be considered strong assets.
