Teledyne FLIR in Richmond, BC is seeking an SMT Operator to set up and run SMT production equipment with precision and care. You will load materials, inspect output, conduct tests, and help maintain tools and processes to ensure high-quality results.

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (9 kg).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate SMT production equipment, including solder paste printers and pick-and-place machines.
  • Load materials and prepare components for production runs.
  • Perform visual inspections and identify product defects.
  • Conduct testing, review results, and package finished products.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs on SMT equipment and production tools.
  • Organize, track, and store raw materials, including reels and PCBs.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve production issues and drive process improvements.
  • Report quality concerns and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and product quality.

Salary Range: $41,900.00-$55,800.000 The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, local regulations (such as minimum wage), education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
