Job summary

Fresh Start Foods is seeking a Full-Time Machine Operator for our Richmond, BC location. The role runs Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 10:30pm, with pay at $19.75/hour, weekly. You will set up and operate slicers, dicers and peelers, perform safety checks, and ensure product quality through manual cutting and processing tasks.

The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, can work in a fast-paced environment, and is able to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime and weekend work flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience in a food processing facility
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Accurate completion of documentation when required
• Works in a safe manner and follows all safety procedures
• Set up and operate machines - slicers, dicers, peelers
• Perform testing procedures to ensure machines are working optimally
• Perform food processing functions including manual cutting, washing, and drying of products
• Identify and retrieve products for processing
• Read recipes (weight, cut size, volume)
• Monitor and troubleshoot basic machine problems/perform regular safety checks

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Machine Operator to join our team based out of our Richmond, BC location.

Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm.
Pay: $19.75/hour (paid on a weekly basis!)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
