Job summary

SLB in Nisku, Alberta is seeking a Machine Operator to safely operate and maintain manufacturing equipment used in the production and repair of power section stators for downhole hydraulic motors. You will support efficient production by following procedures, performing inspections, and contributing to continuous improvement, with overtime flexibility and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Diploma or technical training in Machining, Industrial Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or a related discipline is asset.
• Minimum two (2) years in manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
• Experience operating manufacturing equipment is preferred.
• Forklift & Overhead crane certification and experience are assets.
• 5th class or higher Power Engineering certification is an asset.
• Overtime flexibility as operational needs require.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with team members.
• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with procedures and work instructions.
• Manufacture and repair power section stators and related components.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance activities.
• Identify and report equipment issues, process deviations, or safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Participate in failure investigations and corrective actions as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, efficiency, and product quality.
• Follow SLB's quality, health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.

This role supports efficient production operations by performing manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, following established procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
