Job summary

Crossroads C&I in Edmonton, Canada, is hiring a Fabricator to produce insulation panels to customer specifications. You will operate a band saw and other saws, cut fiberglass, mineral wool, and related materials, while maintaining safety and quality.

The role requires basic math, the ability to read plans, and willingness to learn new equipment. Forklift or pallet jack may be required, with safety training encouraged.

Qualifications

• Compute basic math problems.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate fabrication equipment like a band saw and capable of learning other types of saws and equipment.
• Effectively measure material with tape measure or other measuring devices.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Safely operate a forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 23 kg.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours to perform job related tasks.
