Job summary

Crossroads C&I is hiring a Fabricator to operate band saws and fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, and other insulation materials on site in Canada. You will work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, reliability as a team player, and the ability to pass a respirator certification if needed. Training and a supportive team culture are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment preferred.
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator if required.
• Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate band saw and other fabrication equipment.
• Accurately measure materials for efficiency and quality.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and follow safety requirements.
• Meet daily production targets and quality standards.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.

Your Responsibilities

As a Fabricator, you will operate a band saw, and other types of saws, to custom fabricate fiberglass, mineral wool, perlite, and many other types of specialized insulation. If you are a reliable team player with a desire to work safely in a fast-paced environment, then we want you to. This position is open due to a vacancy.

• Safely and efficiently operate appropriate equipment.
• Accurately measure material for efficiency.
• Maintain quality and housekeeping.
• Ensure production levels are meet daily.
• Comply with all safety requirements.
• Perform other fabrication duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Any other duty, task, or responsibilities as assigned.

Your Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Experience and/or training in a manufacturing/fabrication/warehouse environment (preferred).
• Able to be medically certified to wear respirator (if required).
• Basic computer skills (preferred).

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 23 kg, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range

$17.50 - $30.32
