Bailey Metal Products Limited is seeking a Millwright on the Morning shift at our Surrey, BC location. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing equipment to meet safety and production targets, under the supervision of the Technical Supervisor.

Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years in manufacturing or steel processing, plus MIG/TIG welding, hydraulics, and crane experience. Excellent English communication and teamwork are essential for success in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or steel processing.
  • Proven experience welding, including MIG and TIG welding processes.
  • Experience working with hydraulic systems.
  • Experience in operating and maintaining overhead cranes (asset).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word is an asset for documentation, communication, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated integrity and ethical work practices; open‑minded and persistent in troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to follow instructions, document work, and work effectively with others.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 5:15am-1:45pm (occasional over time)

Job Summary

The Maintenance Millwright will be an integral part of the Bailey Team and will report to the Technical Supervisor. The main purpose of this position is to ensure that the equipment and facilities are repaired and well maintained while meeting safety, quality, scheduling priorities, and productivity and reliability requirements. This requires coordination and reporting; troubleshooting; preventative maintenance; addressing safety issues; assisting with equipment mobilization planning and installation.

IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or steel processing.
  • Proven experience welding, including MIG and TIG welding processes.
  • Experience working with hydraulic systems.
