Job summary

We are seeking a Machine Assembler/Hydraulic Drill Press Operator for a full-time on-site role in Brampton, Ontario. Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4pm. The candidate will assemble various custom machinery, operate a hydraulic drill press, and keep a safe, clean workspace.

Wage ranges from $25 to $35 per hour based on experience. Growth opportunities exist for dedicated individuals who fit well with the team and culture.

Qualifications

• Experience as a machine assembler.
• Experience with bearings and mechanical seals is an asset.
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings.

Job description

We are looking for a Machine Assembler/Hydraulic Drill Press Operator to join our growing team in the Brampton, Ontario area.

This will be a full time on-site role in the busy shop working Monday to Friday day shift. 7:30am-4pm.

An ideal candidate will bring experience working as a machine assembler who has experience with bearings (roller, taper, split) and mechanical seals.

You will ideally bring comprehensive knowledge and skillset to assemble different types of custom machinery and be familiar with drill press operation. You will be organized and keep a clean and tidy work area as well as be very safety minded.

Wage ranges from $25 to 35 per hour depending on relevant experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a machine assembler/hydraulic drill press operator
• Experience with bearings (roller, taper, split) and mechanical seals are an asset.
• Willingness to learn and work
• Experience building custom machinery an asset
• Fabrication experience an asset
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings
• Physically capable to be on your feet for long periods of time
