Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Coordinator to coordinate scopes, supervise on-site activities, and ensure compliance with drawings and codes. You will support PMs and Superintendents in updating schedules, RFIs, and shop drawings while tracking field installation against milestones.

The role requires 2–3 years of mechanical/electrical construction experience and a construction-related degree or diploma, with on-site collaboration across crews and trades.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of mechanical and electrical construction experience.
• Working knowledge of M&E systems, principles and practices.
• Ability to identify and document problems and resolve them effectively.
• Construction/engineering degree or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E scopes to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings and codes.
• Plan, direct and coordinate on-site mechanical and electrical activities to meet requirements.
• Coordinate all relevant drawings to eliminate interference problems.
• Provide direction during functional performance testing of M&E systems.
• Assist PMs and Superintendents with schedules, RFIs and shop drawings.
• Develop an M&E schedule and coordinate with project milestones.
• Track installation in the field and flag potential delays.
