Job summary

Employee Benefit Consultants, Inc. in Ottawa, Ontario, is seeking a Mechanical and Electrical coordinator to align M&E requirements with project scope, lead subcontractor coordination, and ensure timely installation.

Candidates should hold a university degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, have 3–5 years in M&E coordination in construction, bilingual French-English is an asset, and be proficient with MS Office and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Education: University Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 3–5 years in M&E coordination in construction.
• Bilingual French-English is an asset (oral and written).
• Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project.
• LEED accreditation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mechanical and electrical requirements for the project.
• Review scope of work and direct subcontractors in M&E installation.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor procurement to meet project goals.
• Manage M&E contracts and coordinate pre-construction meetings.
• Organize commissioning program and handover of systems.
• Assist in reviewing scope during proposals and bids.
