ATB Cormark Capital Markets in Toronto is hiring an Associate for the Investment Banking – Mergers and Acquisitions team. You will design, structure, and execute complex transactions, including buy-side and sell-side M&A, divestitures, and other strategic mandates.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience across investment banking, corporate finance, M&A, private equity, or transaction advisory.
Proven execution track in M&A transactions and process management.
Ability to handle high-pressure environments and tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain complex financial models including valuation and transaction models.
Prepare pitch books, CIMs, and management presentations.
Conduct industry and company research and analysis.
Coordinate due diligence with clients and advisers.
Manage transaction processes from initial meetings to closing.
Foster client relationships and keep up with market trends.
