Holt Renfrew is seeking a skilled tailor/seamstress to join our fashion-forward team in Toronto. You will measure clients, pin and mark garments, and deliver alterations to the highest technical standards, ensuring on-time completion and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate brings tailoring training, 2 years of experience in luxury alterations, and bilingual English/French communication. You will collaborate with Sales Associates and uphold our brand’s standards and privacy policies.

Qualifications

• Tailoring/seamstress technical training or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar tailoring role.
• Experience altering luxury fabrics and garments.

Responsibilities

• Measure clients to determine scope of work.
• Pin/mark garments per fabric type for accurate fit.
• Deliver garments on time and to high technical standards.
• Inform clients of alteration charges per price list.
• Communicate promise dates for completed alterations.
• Collaborate with Sales Associates to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide expert guidance on cut and fit.
• Follow the alterations tagging process and price list.
• Notify supervisor of supply needs or repair requirements.
• Keep the department clean and orderly.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and privacy policies.
