24 Seven Talent in New York is seeking a Luxury Design Consultant to join our showroom team. You will guide clients through the design and purchasing process, from consultation and space planning to final installation, delivering an exceptional luxury experience.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of luxury retail sales, experience in high-end furniture or interior design sales, and a degree in Interior Design or related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in luxury retail sales.
• Experience in high-end furniture or interior design sales is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Fine Arts, Fashion, or related field preferred.
• Interior Design degree or certification is a plus.
• Proven ability to build relationships with an upscale clientele.
• Strong sales skills with a customer-first approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and consult with clients to understand lifestyle, needs, and design preferences.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.
• Present luxury furniture collections and educate clients on product features, craftsmanship, and customization options.
• Drive sales by identifying opportunities, recommending complementary products, and closing sales.
• Create customized room layouts and floor plans using 3D design software.
• Provide guidance on furniture selection, color palettes, layouts, and interior design.
• Conduct in-home consultations and take accurate space measurements as needed.
• Process customer orders accurately within internal systems.
• Coordinate with European manufacturers to monitor production timelines and order status.
• Partner with Supply Chain and white-glove delivery services for seamless delivery and installation.
• Oversee projects from initial consultation to final completion while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a polished, organized showroom reflecting luxury brand standards.
• Stay current on product knowledge, design trends, and industry developments.
• Support daily showroom operations and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
