Four Seasons Hotel Toronto seeks an Assistant d|bar Manager to lead front of house teams and elevate guest experiences at d|bar by Chef Daniel Boulud. You will drive beverage programs, mentor staff, and partner with leadership to deliver refined cocktails, wine, and service in a luxury environment.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in luxury hospitality, strong beverage knowledge, and excellent guest relations. Fluent English, Smart Serve, and a passion for Four Seasons culture are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of management experience, preferably in luxury hotel or high‑profile bar.
• Strong expertise in spirits, wine, cocktails and bar operations.
• Deep knowledge of the Toronto restaurant scene.
• Excellent guest interaction and problem‑solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and organization; remains calm under pressure.
• Flexibility and professionalism aligned with Four Seasons culture; English fluency; multilingualism is a plus.
• Smart Serve certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall operation of d|bar across all meal periods with efficient service delivery.
• Lead, supervise, and motivate front of house teams; assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Assist with staff scheduling to ensure coverage and cost control.
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor to uphold service standards and guest experiences.
• Drive beverage sales through coaching, upselling, and product knowledge.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Bar leadership on beverage programs.
• Greet guests professionally, handle complaints, and foster long-term relationships.
• Coordinate with Culinary and FOH leadership on menus and promotions.
• Stay aware of beverage trends and Toronto market developments.
• Support revenue generation through floor management and cost efficiency.
• Prepare payroll, labour reports, and other operational docs accurately.
• Monitor inventory and support purchasing and waste reduction.
• Maintain clear communication and participate in meetings.
• Promote an inclusive, accountable workplace culture.
