Job summary

St. Elizabeth School is seeking a lunchroom supervisor to help serve lunch and maintain a safe, caring environment during lunch hour and recess.

Ideal candidates are punctual, enjoy working with children, and can manage groups indoors and outdoors. The successful candidate must work 4 days a week from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, be legally entitled to work in Canada, and provide Police Information Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check and a clear Child Intervention Record Check upon hire.

Qualifications

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and provide background checks.
• Provide Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Intervention Record Check.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, school staff, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Serve food portions to students
• Supervise students indoors while they eat in classrooms or designated area
• Enforce school rules, such as remaining on school grounds and no food sharing due to allergies
• Help students clean up their eating areas
• Clean up the serving area, including washing dishes
