Job summary

Waterloo Catholic District School Board in the Waterloo Region is seeking a Lunch Hour Supervisor Level 2 for St Aloysius Catholic Elementary School in Kitchener, ON. The role supports student safety during the lunch period and requires being 18+, Canadian citizen or valid work permit.

Hours are 1 hour per day, 5 days a week (11:45 am to 12:45 pm), approximately 41 weeks per year, with an hourly rate of 28.11 to 29.51 CAD. Effective November 2, 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Canadian citizen with Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada.
• Desirable: experience working with children, willingness to assume a wide variety of duties, ability to communicate sensitively with students, parents, staff and the public, ability to work as a team player, First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board with a total student population of 38,000, provides services to students in 52 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12) across the Waterloo Region.

Minimum Requirements

• 18 years of age or over;
