Job summary

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is seeking a Lunch Hour Supervisor (Level 2) for St. Peter Catholic Elementary School in Cambridge, ON. The role covers a 11:15 am–12:15 pm window, five days a week during the September–June period, approximately 41 weeks per year.

Compensation is hourly: CAD 28.11–29.51 per hour. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply; the board supports equity and diversity in hiring.

Lunch Hour Supervisor – Level 2

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board with a total student population of 38,000, provides services to students in 52 schools (Kindergarten to Grade 12) across the Waterloo Region.

General Description of Duties:

• Ensure the safety and security of students during the lunch period.

Minimum Requirements:

• 18 years of age or over;
• Canadian citizen with Social Insurance Number or valid work permit to be eligible to work in Canada

Desirable Assets:

• Experience working with children
• Willingness to assume a wide variety of duties;
• Ability to communicate in a sensitive, courteous manner with students, parents, staff and the general public;
• Ability to work as a team player;
• Current First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.

Hourly Rate: $28.11 – $29.51 per hour, Level 2

Location: St. Peter Catholic Elementary School, Cambridge, ON.

Hours of Work: 1 hour per day, 5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

11:15 am - 12:15 pm

Weeks/Year: Approx. 41 weeks/year (September – June)
