Job summary

RONA in Canada is seeking a yard team member to provide customers with expert advice on lumber and building materials, help load products safely, and ensure accurate invoices.

You will support daily yard operations, unload trucks, organize stock, maintain a clean, safe work environment, and participate in opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Knowledge of building materials is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for their lumber and building material needs
• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
• Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
