Lake Country Co-op in Prince Albert, SK is seeking a full-time Lumber Manager to lead the Home Centre team onsite. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and champion safety and asset protection while driving sales in a busy hardware and building-supplies environment.

You are customer-focused, capable of policy development and coaching, and will work with contractors and builders to deliver exceptional member experiences. A strong leadership background is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in home/building retail leadership or management.
• Co-operative retailing experience and construction knowledge preferred.
• Experience estimating and quoting projects beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead Home Centre team and store leadership to drive sales and service.
• Develop policies and innovations to grow sales, service, and earnings.
• Coach and develop team members; manage performance.
• Help hit budgeted goals through pricing, margins, expenses, and inventory control.
• Prepare detailed quotes and project packages using estimating software.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, and customers.
• Oversee merchandising, campaigns, and brand image standards.
• Support asset protection and safety management and perform repairs as needed.
