Job summary

lululemon is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain Programs to lead a team of Project and Program Managers within the Upstream Supply Chain portfolio in Vancouver, Canada. You will design, plan, and deliver high-impact initiatives that align with growth, guest service, and cost improvements.

You will partner with Global Supply Chain leadership to drive cross-functional transformations, build detailed roadmaps, and ensure delivery against milestones while promoting lululemon's culture and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a technical area.
  • MBA or other Master’s degree preferred.
  • 7–10+ years' experience in consulting, project management, or similar with people management experience.
  • Experience in Project Management and Consumer Supply Chain Operations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Ability to interpret and adjust to situations with conflicting goals.
  • Ability to manage a dispersed team and prioritize work.

about this team

The Manager, Supply Chain Programs is responsible for overseeing a team of Project Managers and Program Managers to support Supply Chain leadership drive key projects within the Upstream Supply Chain program portfolio. This includes complex cross-functional transformations, standing up new go-to-market initiatives, and targeted efforts within specific geographies and locations. The Manager, Supply Chain Programs will partner with Global Supply Chain leadership to plan, design, and deliver against the project deliverables and milestones while helping to enable business priorities, including growth, guest service and cost improvements.

core responsibilities
  • Manage a series of large, high-complexity projects or multiple concurrent projects within the Upstream Supply Chain portfolio and partner with PMO leadership to build detailed project plans, charters, including integration touchpoints, dependencies, and sequencing
  • Build a team of high performing Project and Program Managers and thoughtfully divide and allocate the roadmap and operational tasks across them
  • Guide the team to synthesize complex problems through process-driven solutions. May from time to time receive requests in the form of objectives, so will rely on sound judgment in selecting the best methods and techniques to provide effective solutions
  • Monitor project performance against plan as measured by milestones, KPIs, and supporting metrics
  • Provide line-of-sight to PMO and functional leadership to issues, risks, and required decisions across the project workstreams
  • Maintain consolidated resource and timeline views across the project
  • Manage the tracking of project budget, change requests, and intake management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities to reduce costs, drive productivity, better leverage resources, and increase efficiency
  • Work with internal stakeholders to create project charters (scope, objectives, cost, benefits, resourcing, risks) and workplans
  • Assist in implementation and dissemination of effective project management practices across functions, including processes, tools, and standard operating procedures.
  • Partner with the Technology organization to ensure the delivery of defined business capabilities and value within the project scope
  • Collaborate with and oversee 3rd party partners based on specific project scope and service requirements
  • Develop presentation content and support executive-level updates and business reviews.
  • Establish, evaluate and maintain performance standards for all areas of project management to ensure performance targets are achieved while continually looking for ways to enhance delivery and reduce costs
  • Champion lululemon's culture and core values.
  • Ensure the project team works closely with peers across Global Supply Chain, ensuring alignment and consistency in planning, management and execution.
qualifications
  • B.A./B.S. in Business, Engineering, or technical area required
  • MBA or other Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7-10+ years' experience in consulting, project management, or a similar field with previous people management/supervisory experience
  • Experience in Project Management and Consumer Supply Chain Operations preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Ability to interpret and adjust to situations that involve conflicting goals
  • Ability to effectively manage a dispersed team and prioritize work

compensation and benefits package

lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and teamperformance. Thetypical hiring range for this position is from $116,200-152,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
