Qualifications

• Cook’s diploma from a college or recognized Ontario institution.
• Red Seal certification is an asset.
• Previous LTC experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares hot and cold meals for Residents, staff, and catering.
• Uses menu rotation and production sheets with standardized recipes.
• Ensures proper rotation and storage of all food items.
• Sets up steam tables for meal service and reports hazards.
