Job summary

LeeCaring Communities seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for casual, in-person shifts in Edmonton. You will provide person-centered care, administer medications, and supervise Health Care Aides, while collaborating with residents, families and care teams.

Reporting to the Clinical Lead, you will uphold the organization's mission and values, maintain compliance with CLPNA, and ensure high-quality, compassionate care across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Diploma Program.
• Registration to full scope of practice with College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
• LPN Practice Permit and listed on the CLHA directory.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Dementia training is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for residents.
• Administer medications and carry out treatments.
• Provide leadership for Health Care Aides (HCAs).
• Foster and maintain effective relationships with site staff, family physicians, residents and families.
• Act as a role model and ambassador for the Mission and Values of LeeCaring Communities.
