Job summary

Pro Vita Care Management in Agassiz is seeking a licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Agassiz Seniors Community. This temporary full-time or casual opportunity offers meaningful resident care, competitive pay, and a supportive team.

Responsibilities include observing and documenting residents' conditions, providing personal care, infection control, and coordinating with emergency staff. Active LPN registration with BCCNM and a Practical Nursing program are required, along with COVID-19

Qualifications

• Graduate of a recognized Practical Nursing program.
• Active LPN registration with BCCNM.
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions.
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required.
• Supporting emergency staff scheduling as needed.
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices.
• Assessing resident health status, differentiating normal vs abnormal findings.

Responsibilities - YOUR Role

• Observing, monitoring, and documenting residents' physical and psychological conditions,
• Provides and assists with personal care to residents as required,
• Providing personal care as needed, and supporting emergency staff scheduling,
• Ensuring adherence to infection control practices
• Assesses resident health status including, but not limited to:
  • Differentiating between normal and abnormal physical findings
  • Recognizing deviations from mental health baseline, differentiating between dementia and delirium
