Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

Job Description

The role involves installing sensors, open and close features, automatic door operators, electric strikes, mag locks, and card readers. You will need to read instructions and install based on step-by-step directions. This position requires experience with controls, keen attention to detail, ability to navigate iPads, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install sensors and automatic door operators.
  • Read and follow step-by-step installation instructions.
  • Operate electric strikes and mag locks.
  • Work with card readers and other low voltage systems.
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot control systems.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician specializing in low voltage wiring, doors, and controls.
  • Proficiency in safely operating power tools.
  • Experience with hand tools and construction equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and installation guides.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Must possess a car for commuting between sites.
  • Basic tools required for the job.
  • Ability to wear PPE including hard hat, steel-toed boots, high visibility clothing, gloves, clear glasses, and a lanyard for hard hat.

Work Environment
