Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Lockout/Tagout & Systems Interface Coordinator in British Columbia to coordinate, plan, and monitor all LOTO activities for 600V and below electrical systems. You will serve as the primary interface between the Electrical Team and System Partners, managing permits, access, and isolation requests while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 5+ years in similar projects, with experience in

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems up to 600V.
• Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) principles and electrical safety practices.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the project focal point for all LOTO planning activities.
• Review and verify subcontractors follow approved LOTO procedures.
• Coordinate preparation and review of LOTO packages, switching plans, and isolation requests.
• Maintain records of active and completed LOTO activities and ensure permits/isolations are obtained.
• Coordinate energization readiness, testing requirements, and isolation requests.
• Support testing and commissioning activities requiring electrical isolations and outages.
