Job summary

Bannister Nissan of Chilliwack, part of Bannister Automotive Group, is seeking a Lot Attendant to keep vehicle inventory organized, merchandised, and presentable on the lot. You’ll capture photos/videos for online listings and assist with merchandising and dealership operations.

Ideal candidates are energetic, detail-oriented, and able to work outdoors in varying weather. This role offers opportunities for growth within the Bannister Automotive Group.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles, including manual where applicable.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Comfortable taking photos and videos with a smartphone or similar device.
• Social media savvy and comfortable creating engaging visual content.
• An eye for presentation and proper vehicle merchandising.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically able to walk, stand, bend, and move throughout the day.
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Desire to build a long-term career and grow within Bannister Automotive Group.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and maintaining new and used vehicle inventory on the dealership lot.
• Moving and parking vehicles safely as required.
• Keeping vehicle display areas clean, organized, and presentable.
• Ensuring vehicles are properly lined up and ready for customer viewing.
• Capturing quality photos and videos of vehicle inventory for online merchandising and promotional purposes.
• Assisting with vehicle merchandising, including online representation.
• Supporting social media content needs by capturing engaging photos and videos of inventory and dealership activities.
• Assisting with vehicle deliveries, dealer trades, and inventory movement.
• Performing regular lot walks and identifying missing or incorrectly located vehicles.
• Installing and removing dealership plate covers and other vehicle materials as required.
• Keeping showroom and display vehicles clean and presentable.
• Clearing snow, debris, and obstructions from vehicles and lot areas when required.
• Assisting Sales and Service with vehicle movement and other operational needs.
• Performing other dealership duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

As a Lot Attendant, your responsibilities will include:

• A desire to build a long-term career and grow and develop within the Bannister Automotive Group
• Previous automotive, dealership, merchandising, photography, or social media experience is an asset, but not required
