Job summary

Sephora Canada is seeking an Asset Protection Partner in Vancouver to safeguard store assets and support a Leadership team in reducing shortage. You will monitor sales floors, operate CCTV, and prepare incident and audit reports while coordinating with local law enforcement and mall security.

The role requires 1 year of asset protection experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work flexible hours at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
• Satisfy and maintain licensing requirements as required by province or local jurisdiction.
• Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to coach others on loss prevention techniques.
• Proficiency with Windows, Word and Excel.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Availability to work at multiple locations within a market.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to clients when needed.
• Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and via CCTV to deter theft.
• Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recoveries and audits.
• Develop relationships with store staff, local law enforcement, mall security and other retailers.
• Testify in court on behalf of the company when summoned.
• Provide new-hire and ongoing loss prevention training.
• Perform store self-audits, safety inspections and communicate findings.
• Assist inventory prep and shrinkage prevention programs.
• Collaborate on shrinkage prevention plans with DLPM.
• Meet minimum weekly shifts: Full Time 30-40 hrs / Week; Part Time 16-20 hrs / Week.
