Job summary

TipTop Transport is seeking an experienced AZ-licensed truck driver to join a two-person team for on-site operations in Canada. You will load and unload goods, drive tractor-trailer equipment, and perform comprehensive vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with hours-of-service records.

The role includes handling dangerous goods and tarping duties, with a focus on cargo security. Candidates should possess an AZ class license, Class 1/1F/A, and Air Brake Endorsement, and we require

Qualifications

  • Must have AZ class license and Class 1/1F/A license.
  • Air Brake Endorsement required.
  • English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
  • Load and unload goods.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods.
