Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English.
• Secondary school graduation certificate or diploma.
• Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and Driver’s license (Class 1 or A).
• Ability to handle loads up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer complaints or concerns.
• Coach colleagues on new methods or techniques of work.
• Plan travel, itineraries, and make reservations.
• Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods and tarping cargo for safety.
• Oversee vehicle condition and perform inspections (pre-trip, en route, post-trip).

• The candidate must perform brake adjustments.
• The candidate must be able to perform emergency roadside repairs.
• The candidate will be responsible for pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as overseeing all vehicle aspects.
• The candidate must perform preventive maintenance.
• The candidate will be responsible for receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.
• The candidate will be responsible for recording cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
• The candidate will be responsible for tarping and ensuring cargo safety and security.
• The candidate will be expected to transport and handle hazardous materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate should be fluent in English language.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Candidate having experience is an asset.
• The candidate must have Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement, and a Driver’s license (Class 1 or A).
• The candidate must be able to handle weight up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should have effective interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
