Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a truck driver for a permanent on‑the‑road role in Canada (Alberta). You will handle cargo transport on international routes, inspect vehicles, and perform repairs as needed.

The role requires English as the working language, 40–60 hours per week, and a permanent position with day/evening/weekend shifts. Training will be provided; no prior experience required.

Qualifications

• High school graduation certificate required.
• Strong attention to safety and cargo security.
• Ability to record hours, mileage and fuel usage accurately.

Responsibilities

• Obtain permits and documents for international cargo transport.
• Oversee vehicle condition: tires, lights, brakes and cold storage.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Conduct pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections.

• * Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

• * Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
• * Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
• * Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
