Job summary

Calgary Exhibition & Stampede in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a Logistics Team Lead to plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of assets within the BMO Centre and Stampede Park. This role includes mentoring a logistics team, troubleshooting operational challenges, and implementing improvements for safety, efficiency, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in logistics, strong organizational skills, and a focus on safety.

Qualifications

Requires proactive, organized leader with experience in logistics or warehousing.
High school diploma required; post-secondary in logistics is an asset.
Forklift certification and operating stand-up/equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and oversee the delivery of assets within the BMO Centre and Stampede Park, ensuring timely and accurate fulfilment of requests.
Identify and implement solutions to improve logistics processes and asset distribution reliability.
Collaborate with internal departments to anticipate needs and align operations with goals.
coach and mentor logistics operators, fostering safety and professional development.
Monitor asset inventory levels and minimize downtime in coordination with the Operations Manager.
Troubleshoot issues related to asset delivery, work orders, or resource allocation.
