Job summary

Mint Green Group in Canada is seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator to manage inbound shipments and logistics activities for products into our US distribution center. You will ensure efficient, compliant, and timely movement of goods from global vendors to the distribution center while supporting sales, operations, and customer fulfillment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2–5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or international shipping.
  • Experience coordinating international shipments and shipments within the US.
  • Experience working with carriers and global vendors.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, logistics tracking tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • High attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to quickly address shipment issues.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound international shipments into the US including air, ocean, containerized, LTL, and FTL freight as well as domestic US shipments.
  • Arrange pickup and delivery schedules for all inbound shipments.
  • Monitor shipment progress and follow up on logistics activities to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist with scheduling pickups and preparing documentation for international outbound shipments when required.
  • Track procurements throughout the ordering and shipping process.
  • Communicate with vendors to obtain production updates and provide estimated arrival dates for incoming goods.
  • Maintain incoming shipment logs and prepare required documentation for distribution centers to receive shipments.
  • Create and update purchase orders and update internal tracking systems with accurate and current shipment information.
  • Collaborate with freight carriers and logistics partners to coordinate shipments and resolve transportation issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors on shipment scheduling, documentation, and delivery timelines.
  • Assist with resolving product defects, shipment damage, or return logistics with vendors when required.
  • Work closely with Product Line Managers, Operations, Distribution Centers, eCommerce, Customer Service, Sales, Production, and Finance to support supply chain operations.
  • Provide shipment updates and communicate potential delivery issues that may affect inventory availability or customer fulfillment.
  • Support Operations and Customer Service teams with shipment tracking and exception management.
  • Review and approve freight and product invoices for air and ocean shipments.
  • Maintain accurate shipment files including documentation, billing records, and logistics information.
  • Ensure all shipment records and internal databases remain accurate and up to date.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for coordinating inbound shipments and logistics activities for products into our US distribution center. This role ensures the efficient, compliant, and timely movement of goods from global vendors to our distribution center while supporting sales, operations, and customer fulfillment.

The Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator works closely with internal teams and external logistics partners to track shipments, maintain accurate documentation, resolve transportation issues, and ensure deliveries align with operational and customer timelines.
