Job summary

Cascades in Winnipeg is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead a unionized shipping team and optimize plant flow. The role focuses on coordinating daily operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and driving continuous improvements to shipping performance.

You will collaborate with production, customer service, and external partners while supporting workforce planning and safety standards in a dynamic, people-first environment.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in manufacturing or logistics.
  • Proven experience supervising teams in a fast-paced, operational setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to manage performance and develop employees.
  • Experience working in a unionized environment (asset).
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Experience with inventory control and production–logistics coordination.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP (asset).
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to drive change.

What you bring

You're a natural fit for Logistics Supervisor if you have:

5 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment

Proven experience supervising teams in a fast‑paced, operational setting

Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage performance and support employee development

Experience working in a unionized environment (asset)

Solid problem‑solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure

Experience with inventory control and production‑logistics coordination

Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP (asset)

A continuous improvement mindset and the ability to drive change
