Logistics Specialist - 12 Month Contract

Job Details

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the main point of contact for target customer segments.
  2. Resolve complex problems related to shipments and other issues.
  3. Address customer complaints and drive systemic improvements.
  4. Stay informed about changes affecting targeted customers.
  5. Serve as an internal expert on customer segments to guide colleagues and sales teams.
  6. Develop trusting relationships with target customer segments.
  7. Support customers on-site as needed.
  8. Assist Business Development Managers during meetings with current and prospective clients.
  9. Support the Operations Manager with complex assignments, including authoring CAPAs, conducting monthly checks, and responding to incidents and customer comments.
  10. Provide leadership support in the absence of the Customer Service/Operations Lead.
  11. Be eligible for inclusion in specialized teams (EPL, TCS, DTP, CGT, CT, etc.).
  12. Assist in training new employees.
  13. Mentor and support new and developing colleagues.
  14. Ensure follow-up on live jobs, regardless of ownership.
  15. Help develop new training materials and serve as a subject matter expert.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  1. At least 2 years of experience in customer care and a High School diploma.
  2. Potential for travel to various destinations worldwide.
  3. Effective communication skills in English and/or French, both written and verbal.
  4. Creative problem-solving abilities.
  5. Flexibility to work multiple shifts.
  6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  7. Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
  8. Daily contact with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams may be required.
