Job description

Description

At Lufa Farms, we’re on a mission to create a better food system and a huge part of this is achieved by growing food where people live, and growing it responsibly. We also partner with hundreds of local farmers and foodmakers to offer a full lineup of fresh, local, responsible groceries, delivered at home or at a pick-up point. From yoga studios to neighbourhood cafés, our pick-up points serve as an efficient means of delivering baskets to our Lufavores. To keep our network thriving, we’re looking for a Logistics & Partnerships Representative.

Our Logistics Logistics & Partnerships Representative is responsible for maintaining and expanding on the current pool of partner businesses. They have to keep their finger on the pulse and should always be in the know of which areas require development. Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and optimize our pick-up point network to ensure efficient and consistent service;
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners, from onboarding through the end of the collaboration;
  • Plan and coordinate delivery schedules to maximize operational efficiency;
  • Collaborate with the sales team to respond to logistical needs and requests;
  • Oversee the onsite customer experience, ensuring each pick-up point delivers high-quality service and meets Lufa Farms’ standards;

  • Outgoing and confident public speaker. You’ll need to be able to convince complete strangers to dedicate a physical space of their own business to another company they might have never heard of;
  • A go-getter that will remain resilient and optimistic in the face of rejection. No’s and objections don’t phase you: you love a challenge;
  • Bilingual, with strong French communication abilities, as the vast majority of our partners speak French. English is also required, although a lower level of proficiency than French is acceptable;
  • Comfortable using computers and associated applications, and particularly; comfortable working with/or learning to use customer service management software and Excel;
  • Ability to work quickly and precisely in a fast-paced environment;
  • A team player who also has the capacity to work individually;
  • Has the ability to handle questions/comments/complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits;
  • Has the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively;
  • Can handle stressful situations in a calm manner.

  • Genuine interest and enthusiasm for Lufa Farms’ mission to reinvent the local food engine;
  • Previous experience in a sales-related role;
  • Experience with logistics;
  • Knowledge of Quebec and its different regions.
Schedule
