About The Role

The Logistics Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing a single or group of client(s). This includes providing support to the operations team and reporting to clients as needed. This position also manages daily operations, maintains, and reports on standard work processes to ensure transportation solutions for each account are accurate and efficient.

What The Candidate Will Do

• Proactively identify and communicate issues, propose and implement solutions for process, cost, service, and profitability improvements.
• Resolve conflicts and solve problems effectively.
• Determine eligibility for additional non-committed freight and support awards to internal brokerage services.
• Develop and distribute customer and internal performance reports.
• Negotiate and contract rate agreements with carriers, seek competitive rates, and maintain relationships with carriers.
• Provide rate quotes and update TMS systems accordingly.
• Monitor team performance and hold team accountable for key functions.
• Review and analyze P&L matters.
• Deliver cost savings and cost containment strategies for customers and Uber Freight.

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Bilingual in French and English.
• 2 years of management experience.
• Knowledge of TMS systems.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to run BI reports, analyze data, and provide insights.
