Job summary

JBS Food Canada Inc. is seeking a Logistics Manager to lead the logistics and transportation for all products. You will coordinate with vendors to meet service levels and scale operations internationally, aligning with North American trade compliance and best practices.

The ideal candidate has extensive logistics leadership experience, strong data and KPI discipline, and the ability to implement new processes in a fast-moving environment. This is a full-time permanent role in Brooks, AB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field preferred.
• 8+ years in Logistics with at least 5 years in people leadership.
• Experience with perishable goods and ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• Proven ability to drive process improvement without major disruption.
• Strong people management, supervision and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Lead Performance Improvement and Operational Efficiency initiatives with a data-driven approach.
• Provide leadership for direct reports; optimize resources to meet company goals.
• Set and achieve performance metrics for productivity, safety, quality, and service.
• Oversee carrier contracts, negotiations and relationships for competitive rates.
• Resolve issues with carriers and customers and improve service levels.
• Analyze day-to-day operations; support procedures and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate shipment data from origin to end-delivery.
• Develop and maintain policies to support cost reduction and KPI targets.
• Manage budgets, participate in vendor reviews, drive corrective actions.
